The second Superseries Premier event of the year – Maybank Malaysia Open -- will boast a stellar field in singles as all top eight male and female players, including 2013 winner
Tai Tzu Ying, head out vying for the 2015 titles in front of the incredibly supportive fans at the Putra Stadium next week from Mar 31 to Apr 5.
Tai, currently ranked number six in the world and the 7th seed of the event, however, will have a tough path if she is to repeat her 2013 success. Tai will square off against Zhang Beiwen representing the U.S. in Wednesday’s first round actions, and will likely have to go head-to-head with Sun Yu, the tall and fast-rising Chinese, in the second round. The quarter sits number 3 seed Saina Nehwal from India.
Tai made the semis of 2015 All England Open in her first tournament using VICTOR
HX-800 racket.
