Chinese Taipei Biggest Winner at French Open – Tai and Lee/Lee lifted the title

The end of October is a good week for Chinese Taipei. Women’s Singles player Tai Tzu Ying won the Superseries title at French Open, which was her fourth Superseries champion in 2017. In addition, Chinese Taipei Men’s Doubles pair Lee Yang/Lee Jhe Huei lifted their first Superseries title in Paris.

Tai Tzu Ying, as a dominated player in Women’s Singles who just suffered shoulder injury last month. However, the queen showed her power and dominance on court again at French Open. It was impressed that she took only 10 minutes to beat Japanese player Akane Yamaguchi in first game. Finally, the artist on court won the championship in 31 minutes, which was her first title at French Open.

Lee Yang/ Lee Jhe Huei, a current World No.8 pair in Men’s Doubles reached the first Superseries finals at French Open. They faced experienced Danish Mathias Boe and Carsten Mogensen, but the young pair was afraid of nothing. They attacked fiercely and saved a game point in second game. The desire of championship made them strong, and eventually won the first Superseries title of their career.
